Firehouse Subs

I am normally a huge fan of Sub and sandwiches.

Being a huge fan of food I had heard great things about Firehouse subs in the south. Last week I decided to listen to the google lady when she told me it was just off the freeway.

I have to say I was disappointed with the food and the service.

Important fact: Do not bring your vegetarian girlfriend to this place the staff will laugh at her and tell her that they basically don't know what is in the tuna and don't care..

Secondly do not expect to get your food fast even though there is nobody else in the restaurant.

Third do not even try to ask them to point out which one is the meat sub otherwise you will see you food slammed on the counter like you are trying to stun a fish that you just caught.

Basically if you like to be treated like cr@p and eat sub-par food, and be treated like a criminal in  state facility that is just told to eat and enjoy you may like this place otherwise I recommend going next door to KFC.

YES subway is far better and cheaper IMO.

Firehouse subs is great! I loved the King's Hawaiian® Pork and Slaw sandwich and the meatball sub. My husband gets the New York Steamer or Steak and Cheese. He enjoys both sandwiches. The location in Lenoir City has a friendly staff and the restaurant is very clean.
