  Local watering hole.  Food is basic but decent.  Friendly staff, they remember returning customers.  Good mixed drinks.  We'll go again.

  Everytime I've eaten here, it's been excellent. The seafood is the freshest in the area, and quite reasonably priced. I'm a Friday fish person and the fish and chips here are excellent. Service is quick and the waitresses are quite friendly, and not too hard on the eyes either!! The menu is small, but that just means the items on it are that much better. Definitely worth a try.

  Clearly everyone who gave the Flat Penny more than one star, lacks a refined pallet and was drunk throughout there dining experience.
  I was given a barley audible greeting by the host.  My waitress, failed to even ask if I needed more water on the HOTTEST day of my life. Obviously making face with the bartender was more important.   She put in the wrong order for my food, then presented it to me at my table and asked if it would be okay to serve me it. I didn't order off a menu to get a surprise meal.  The food was very bland, and presentation was that of  bachelors capacity.
  Over all, FLAT food, FLAT service, FLAT personalities

  Much better than the old Train Spot. Bar is really clean and the TV's are nice.  Beers were on the pricey side.  Food was good nothing to write home about ... We live near by so we'll be back again ...
