Fletchers Grille & Spirits

I have to say I frequently use yelp for recommendations, however I have never reviewed here before. Until now after eating here. Let me first say that I don't consider myself a food snob by any means. In fact. I frequently search for "the local dive" when traveling.  My wife, son, and I were in cape coral for a few days and stumbled on this place.  Let me start with the positives.  The atmosphere is good. And they had basketball playing on the TV's. That's about all the positives I can say. Entering the place the hostess seemed bothered by our presence (also upon leaving she was on the phone with a personal call). Our waiter ( Bradley) was extremely unfriendly and inattentive. Our son ordered a burger off the child's menu which included a drink. We ordered milk. Not only to find out later on our bill that milk is a extra $2.50 which our waiter never mentioned or agreed to remove after our complaint. My wife and I Were both in the mood for their "gourmet burger". The burger was a decent size and cooked to our requests however both tasted like the meat was dropped into the bottom of a fire pit and covered with ashes. The fries were super salty and the fruit cup that my son ordered were also fries.   Did I mention the waiter was apathetic and inattentive. We will never go back. A shame because the place could have potential

The place seems good and the service was great. The atmosphere is very nice. I would recommend this place to larger groups and parties.

Put it this way, we at first received a 5 ounce filet instead of an 8 ounce filet and I still rate it five stars.  The problem was quickly and professionally corrected.  All of our food was excellent and our server was attentive and friendly.  We came because we had a <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> coupon and we will be back for sure!  Prices are also quite reasonable (if not a little lower than expected).
