The Freeze

Local spot with lots of nostalgic value.  The food is fine with a couple of standout items...pizza burger, breaded tenderloin, fried mushrooms.  Known for ice cream...I recommend a Boston shake.  Solid small town cafe.

I'm sure if you ask around, a lot of locals could tell you much more about what this restaurant serves as I have only come for one thing--one of the best things I've ever eaten in fact. Fried bread. Huh? Yes, it is bread that is fried and it is de-licious. Soft and pillowy with a slightly crunchy outside, this bread is sure to hit the spot. It's served with a marinara and/or cheese sauce and they both compliment it wonderfully.

If anything, just come to try the fried bread, as it is reasonably priced and scrumptious. But if looking for more of a selection I'm sure they have other options, but do you really need any? Me thinks not.
