Probably won't be back. Â Stopped here on the way to the museum, but I think the food at the museum would have been better, which isn't saying much.
The chicken lo mein and the spring rolls were below average. Â You've got to be able to make these basic dishes to survive as a chinese restaurant.
The first time we ordered from Friendship, we were very happy - the food was very good and it arrived within the timeframe stated.
Tonight is another story. Ordered online from the restaurant at 6.03PM. No food at 7.10 PM, so called the restaurant, was told "driver just let with your order". I live 5 minutes away. 30 minutes later, still no food, I call the restaurant. A different woman answers the phone and can't find my order. Placed on hold and after 5 minutes, she tells me it never was entered into the restaurant's system from the online ordering system, and she asked me if the first woman had an accent, and when I said yes, she replied "oh, yeah, now I know the reason".
She asks me if I want the order to be made and when I ask how long, am told another hour to hour and a half! Like they couldn't maybe rush it since I've been waiting almost two hours by the point already??? When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told, "he is really busy right now and can't come to the phone, he is serving a large party".
Lesson of the story = online customers mean nothing to the restaurant, the employ people that they know aren't doing their job, and even after they have messed up, won't do anything to fix it.
Sorry Friendship, you are not my friend anymore.
