  If you find yourself on the Hwy 27 bypass in Blakely, do NOT bypass the charming town.  Exit and make your way to Funnygirl.  The chef is very talented and is an expert baker.  I don't miss a chance to visit when I'm in town for court or passing through to neighboring venues.

  Deeee-licious pimento cheese+ beer by the bottle for $2 +a rocking band +a prominent location on the square = a happening Friday night in Blakely, Georgia.  
  
  An extra star for the employee who came to clear away the tables when we decided to start dancing.  Now that's service.

  Fried catfish po-boy was pretty darn good for a land-locked deli.  Seafood gumbo was good, too.  Menu was a nice mix of deli basics and Southern classics.  While the atmosphere was a little more upscale than I'd expected for a small-town deli on the town square, it wasn't uncomfortable.  Waitress was incredibly friendly and kept the coffee flowing - always a plus in my book!  Only thing I really didn't love was the giant projection TV over the register as it dominated the entire space and was very distracting.
