Gasoline Alley Cafe

Like all live music clubs, to save yourself a night of horror, know the band before you bother going. There can be some pretty painful acts on this stage. The sound, while not the worst in the area, is far from professional.

Bar-tending is slow and understaffed, drink selection is minimal and leans toward the bud/bud-light/shot of Jagger crowd. Ambiance is rock seedy with a dash of potential bar fight. Just don't bring your Mom here for Mother's Day or anything (unless your Mom rides a chopper and can drink more Jack than you.. but then she's probably in a tougher bar already if that's the case.).

Surprisingly, some of the food is OK. The sandwiches I've had are definitely above average. The assortment of usual bar food (fries, etc.) are, just like most bars, pretty crappy.
