GazBar Sports Grill

I have definitely grown to love this place. First off....they have the most amazing complimentary popcorn. All of the apps are soooooo delicious. Nachos, wings, cheesy fries, calamari, etc. Entrees and salads spectacular as well. But I do love my apps!  I have never had a bad food experience here. I have only had a great time. Perhaps those who got food poisoning "at the gaz bar" ate some bad canned food before they came. Get your asses down here, this place is a blast!

Went there today for lunch with my hubs and kids. Place is nice inside and even with the plethora of TVs in there it wasn't too loud. There was a decent crowd in there for a Monday but not too busy which was good since there was only one bartender/server. Menus are big size wise and look a little like a placemat. There are apps, dinners, sandwiches, salads, and burgers. I ordered the Ship Wreck which is a fried haddock sandwich with fries. Large tasty sandwich, yummy fries. My hubs and daughter split an "O" burger with onion rings. Onion rings are huge and tasty. They said burger was good but cheese seemed to be put on at the end with the lettuce and wasn't melted on the burger itself. My son got the chicken pot pie and it was not good. It was like a runny soupy consistency and did not taste good at all. He poked at it and took a bite or two but was really inedible. The waitress took it off our bill without any issue and apologized which was nice. Everything but the pot pie was great and we will definitely go back. While this place is kid friendly, there is no kid menu (which is understandable). Prices were decent. ($9 burger). Total for 3 sodas, burger with O rings, and a fried haddock sandwich was $27.25. Would like to try this place again w/o the kids next time!!

I got food poisoning here Monday night .. ended up in the hospital for 6 hours.
