I just want to add to my last review of this restaurant. I may have been a little harsh. Really, it's a great place to go, watch sports on the big screen, and you can tune into whichever channel with a remote sound machine. The bar staff is awesome, the regulars :), well, they have their own thing going. If looking to kick back, not break your wallet, grab a beer, and watch a game...Glory Days is a good place to come.

Management needs to really keep an eye on their waitstaff.  The food is usually pretty good and it's cheap.  My big complaint is that service is usually below average.  The waitress we have tonight is one of those who feel it's an inconvenience for her to have to take our food order.  Some servers aren't bright enough to understand it's a self-fulfilling prophacy situation.  If you don't want to do your job because the people before aren't tipping you?   Keep up that bad attitude and the ones who come after aren't going to care to tip you much also.  Take pride in what you do!

Second time there. First visit I got salad - it was completely average. Tonight I ordered wings - they were good. I got the 10 spice chicken entree with carrots and broccoli and it was terrible. Service was decent. It's bar food. For a few extra dollars and a 10 minute drive you are crazy not to go to Coastal Flats or Jacksons - where you are guaranteed a great meal every time. You would NEVER get a bad tasting chicken entree at one of those places as I did at Glory Days.

Why do I even go back here...it wasn't my choice. The waitress was nice but clueless. I'm confused why she thought you bring out appetizers and salad with the meal, its sad that I need to ask for it to come out first. The prime rib sammich au jus came with the au jus in a impossibly small cup, no dipping possible. The alleged seasoned fries we as plain and bland as they come.  The caesar salad was tasteless.  I'll try not to come back again if I can help it....  And the waitress couldn't get our bills sorted out either, had it right after 3 attempts, just sad.

Chris here as the manager is the best of the whole Glory Days chain....if he is managing, everything is right on track.  Their new macaroni balls (appetizer) are incredible!!  Think the best of creamy mac 'n cheese and give it an outside crunchy coating.  Their service is excellent at this location, and their burgers plus a side for only $5.55 is still a great deal for a family (every Monday evening).   Their wings with Glory Sauce are the best in the area, and Wednesdays are half-price wing night.  Right now they have some pretty interesting Octoberfest beers, plus an Octoberfest sampler with German sausages, creamy mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and sweet 'n sour red cabbage.  This is the perfect place to eat dinner and watch a game in progress.  And after 9 p.m. weekdays all appetizers are $5. For dessert, their oreo sliders are fantastic.

Been here 3x with an old college buddy of mine.  Not a bad place to watch the game and get some food and some suds.  It's a little pricey, but certainly a better value than the Reston Town Center.

After 9pm on weekdays, they have $5 appetizer plates.  I like their wings with the Glory sauce.  Southwestern egg rolls are tasty, too.  Typical bar treats, and done pretty well.

Parking is not an issue as this is in a strip mall.

And this is why I should NOT base a Glory Days review on only a few visits.  I KNOW Glory Days is inconsistent -- when it's good it's really GREAT and when it's bad, it's just AWFUL.  OK, so I had a bad (really bad) experience on June 27 and I Yelped about it.  A week later, my arm twisted by a friend with $5.50 burger withdrawal twisted my arm to try again.

And it was wonderful (well, as wonderful as a sports bar in this price range ever gets).  Service was prompt (drinks on the table in under 5 minutes) and our orders came out quickly -- most importantly, the burgers were cooked picture perfect.  I ordered rare and got medium rare and my friend ordered medium and got medium well -- what we both actually wanted).  The burgers were juicy and tasty; the cheese just melted (not so melted that it had all run down into the bun); and the sides were hot.  We were in burger heaven.  And our waitress checked back with us regularly and kept the refills coming.

So, if you read my three reviews of Glory Days, you'll realize I could have predicted this turn of events.  Did I say they were inconsistent?  Did I say to check your expectations at the door and just go with the experience and know that (usually) the good triumphs over the awful?  OK.  So I'm a fan again.

Glory Days is good for entertainment, solid for food, and alright for service. I normally come in with my friends, but sometimes I order carry out for my family. The waiters are nice, but are sometimes slow with refills, condiments, etc., but when I order carry out, it is usually correct, and the guy that works there... Talk about tall dark, and handsome. Overalls I'd say it's a good place to go if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

Great place to grab a bite to eat and a beer.  They have TVs everywhere and you can actually listen to them with speakers left on each table. I have been there multiple times in the past 5 years or so and for the most part they are consistent in their food and drinks.   There are only a few things that I havent tried and most of the food was great.

Talk about hit or complete miss.  I went to Glory Days with my wife and a friend last night and everything was a complete miss.

My softball team regularly frequents a different location and service was always decent, we got attentive servers, service was quick and efficient and people would check on us.  Not this location.

I used to be a server, so I understand that there are times when the kitchen is backed up, people get in the weeds and occasionally the place is just slammed.

This just was not the case.  My buddy HATES tomato's and very clearly asked for none on his burger (there was)  My wife and I both ordered the Glory Burger with a side of Glory Sauce (didn't come with any)  We asked 2 different people that passed by our table to bring us some on their way back from the kitchen and it never came.

After almost 10 min our server came to check on us and we finally got the condiment we desired, but by then we were almost out of fries.  All of this was at least 15 min from when our meal's hit the table.  A good server should constantly walk by, if not ask if the table needs anything.

The thing that bothered me most was I ordered a Arnold Palmer (half tea and half lemon aid)  After I finished it and sat waiting for the server to come by, which like everything else took forever.  I was asked, "are you sure they don't come with free refills".  Are you serious?  How much did I pay for that like 4 bucks?  He replied, "yup"  Why didn't you tell me this when I ordered it!!!!!!

So I said forget that, but please refill my water (which had been empty for at least 10 min)

    He never came back.

I really want to like this place, but EVERY TIME I come to this location I'm reminded why I hate it.  How is it SO DIFFERENT from the one in Centerville where I receive great service EVERY TIME.

Glory Days Grill is good for regular sports bar food and drink. Good prices, service and friendiness. Recommend for casual dining and sports. There are pretty good TVs on three walls, so you usually can see something.

I did not finish review for this date and have been back more recently. Now, they have a printed, glossy, color menu and it looks like they never change the food available. Before, there were specials. I did enjoy a turkey BLT at the bar a couple of weeks ago, along with a tall Miller Lite. Another time I had sliders and did not realize they were not hot ones. I think they were ham and cheese or something. I can make better at home.

This place is usually crowded in the evening meal time, which is OK since it means they will be around for awhile. Unfortunately, it means that it is one of the very few acceptable restaurants nearby. The shopping center has a good Chinese restaurant and there is always 5 Guys Hamburgers, Subway, Starbucks, Papa John's  Pizza.  I really wish that a much better restaurant would come into the shopping center. There is a good sized building available that was once shared by a now closed art frame store and Block Buster. Maybe someone could modify it enough to be used as a restaurant?

I like their half price burger night, and my kids can be as loud as they want and I don't feel bad here.  It has a fun, upbeat atmosphere.  I'd say the food is okay, though there are a good number of American food choices, and the service is equally just okay, but they're friendly and responsive.  I'll continue to eat here.

I really like this place a lot. Chill atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff what more could you ask for? I highly recommend the Glory Wings or the Glory Burger. I eat here pretty regularly and both are pretty good. I give it a solid 3 out 5. Give it a shot. Let me know what you think?

My son LOVES this place.  Why?  Because there are about 100 TVs there - and each table has it's own little radio - so you can listen in to whichever TV you really care about!  So he can listen to his cartoon - while I watch sports - or just zone out.

The macaroni and cheese is super yummy!  I usually get the sliders - and they are great too!  The service is always friendly (huge thumbs up in my book!).

Okay, I really like this place.  I been to this location numerous times either with coworkers for happy hour or with family for $5 burger night on Mondays.

The food is great (ribs, burgers, wings, nachos are my recommendations) and the happy hour prices are decent - I don't remember the specifics.  They also offer a late night special which I believe starts at 9pm.

Service can be a little slow though, but everyone is friendly.  Outdoors seating is nice on a beautiful day.

So, I'm incredibly torn on what rating I should give this particular Glory Days. Overall, Glory Days has INCREDIBLE food and the only thing I can complain about is from about a year ago when my Sprite was simply bubbly water. Five stars for food. Always delicious and rather filling.

Now, to get down to business. I've been going to this place since it opened, and it quickly became a hot stop for kids my age. Whenever I went, I always saw somebody I knew from school or other places. Definitely not a good family restaurant at all, but a decent place to meet up with friends and grab a bite to eat or just enjoy a casual, loud outing.
I am aware that this is a sports bar, yet as almost everybody has mentioned, the whole restaurant smells of smoke the second someone lights up a cigarette. Personally, I find that smell rather unsettling and end up not being able to finish my food. They need to find a way to air out the restaurant more efficiently. I went to a Glory Days in Loudon County and it was fine- not a chain issue.
A lot of the employees that work here are pretty nice and seem to enjoy their job. Though, I'd like to explain why I'm giving this place such a low rating.
It has been about a year and a half since I visited this location until last night. My boyfriend and I were hungry and he was in the mood for wings. When we arrive we wait a good minute for someone to come and greet us/seat us. We were seated next to the smoking section, though it was at around 830, the dinner crowd had just left and this includes most of the smokers. It wasn't until about ten minutes since we'd been seated did our waiter show up, not even offering a smile. "...hey." Well hi to you too, sir...forget your name? We found out his name later that evening when we received out check. My boyfriend and I were ready to order by now. We gave our waiter our drink orders, and he jotted them down and was about to walk away before we caught him again, telling him we were ready to order. As an appetizer, my boyfriend ordered the 'loaded' fries without tomatoes. Then we both ordered boneless wings (Their new chi-chili sauce is delicious!). The waiter asked what side my boyfriend wanted (blue cheese or ranch) and then completely forgot to ask me what I wanted (though at least he brought both). The second we were done ordering he escaped into the back room, where we didn't see him for another ten or so minutes. Our drinks arrive after the long wait (which always seems longer when you're completely parched, am I right or what?) and then we wait another five or so minutes to receive our food. My entrée and our appetizer come out at the same time. The waiter turns to my boyfriend and tells him it's going to be another five minutes, they made his with bone, not without. I understand this simple mistake, what I don't understand it why he couldn't have just brought out our appetizer BEFORE our entrées, and brought both entrées out at the same time? I pushed my entrée to the side and enjoyed the appetizer which contained (oh come on, I'm sure you can guess it at this point!) tomatoes. Ugh, I hate tomatoes!! We didn't want to wait another ten minutes for our appetizer (which wasn't even warm...ew!) so we just ignored it and ate. FINALLY my boyfriend's entrée appears on the table and our waiter asks if I'd like a refill of my water. Still parched, I say yes. Instead of getting me the water he OFFERED to refill, he goes into the back and doesn't come out for a good seven minutes. We see him again. "How's your meal?" "It's great, thanks." Once again he walks away. He didn't have my water (by now my mouth feels like cotton :[ not fun) and he didn't ask if we needed anything. Fifteen minutes pass, my boyfriend and I are stuffed, having finished eating about thirteen minutes ago. We had some leftovers. "How's your meal?" Wow, he must practice those three words every night before going to bed! "It's great, can we please get th-" Oh, how much I hate being interrupted! "Would you like your check?"
...YES! (Incredibly frustrated AND THIRSTY by now.)
We also ask for two boxes to bring our food home.
The check is delivered pretty quickly actually! Though it takes a good five-ten minutes to give it back. Brought back to us quickly, though. Oh yeah, and then this guy brings us our boxes, having only remembered thanks to the glare I sent him as he snuck back to his back room.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience! I'd understand mediocre service when busy, but my boyfriend and I were one of maybe six tables in the restaurant (besides the bar), and our waiter was serving half of those!

The manager on duty was making rounds throughout the restaurant and never once noticed the poor service we were receiving. I'm incredibly disappointed at this, I expected a lot more from them.
I hope to be able to update this review next time I go to this particular Glory Days, but that will most certainly not be for quite a while.

4 stars for their wings in glory sauce!  Glory sauce is amazing!  It's sweet and tangy with a kick!  I mainly go here for wings but their sliders aren't too bad either.

I was pleasantly surprised with Glory Days.  We won a gift check to the restaurant and I went there expecting a sports bar with mediocre food.  While I was right on the sports bar front, the food was pretty good.  The ribs and fried shrimp platter have become my favorite.  It is very kid friendly and the background noise is loud enough that I haven't had to worry about my child bothering others.   We have been there about four times and had a great meal on each visit.

Nice food but it is ruined by the smoking.  There is a non smoking section but the restaurants really just one big room so its impossible to contain the smoke.  You can't bring kids here because of the smoke.

    If you are a smoker , I'm sure you'll enjoy the place.  I don't.

I love this place for both eating in and takeout. The service is usually really quick- we've never had to wait a long time to receive our food after ordering. The to-go people are always on top of things, too.

We've eaten here a handful of times and haven't had any bad food yet. In fact, the crab dip is to die for!

Glory Days in Herndon/Reston is only open on Fridays for lunch - open after 4 pm the other days.
I like their grilled chicken salad, the lettuce is is a mixture of romaine and iceberg and also has cabbage, carrots, and tomatoes.
If you're in the mood for an appetizer the crab dip is also pretty good, but very salty!  My friend enjoyed the chicken ranch wrap and it looked good.  There are three reasons why I am giving this restaurant three stars instead of four and they are because:
    - our waitress had an attitude when we asked her to split our check, she never really came back to check on us, and she got both of our orders wrong.
    - there is a bad stench of cigar/cigarette smoke when you walk in (and I sometimes smoke (trying to quit) so if I think it's bad, then it must be pretty bad, although this place IS a sports bar).
    - our table was sticky and dirty when we sat down - unaccceptable.
