Guanabanas

Locals favorite. When they first opened, we used to joke, "let's go somewhere to eat before we go to Guana's" because it is a beautiful place with a great location to chill. That has all drastically changed. The sweet and spicy  smoked chicken wings are ridiculous. You can eat them with a fork. (also half price 3-7 happy hour). The empanadas are unbelievable, and the Guava sauce that comes with them, is a real one of a kind. I had a boniato crusted snapper that was cooked to perfection. They have a specialty drink called a "Gini Hendricks" that is muddled cucumber, agave nectar and I think club soda? We substitute the gin for Patron and they call it a "Patty Hendricks". Don't leave before trying one!!!  Great spot for sunsets and photo ops, plus you can come by boat. This place can get a little crowded during "season". It's one of Jupiter's prime Cougar Hunting Grounds. But if you live here year round, we all know what happens down here with a great spot during season...enjoy the off season.

LOVE it here!  The atmosphere is incredible; the food is always reliably good.  I'm surprised by the negative reviews, since we've never had a bad meal or an unhappy experience on many visits here.

Lets be honest. You come here for the location and ambiance. Drink in hand, next to the water, tropical scenery....that's where it ends. The service is mediocre. Don't dare come here on a weekend night at 6pm and expect to sit down before 9;30.  
Typical bar apps, with an occasional island twist. Typically order the blue cheese wedge with a piece of fish, and have enjoyed it.
