Hama's Place

Can't say much about the place.
Can't review the food because they wouldn't cook for us.
Can't review the service because we didn't get any.

I don't know if this is a coincidence, but this place is terrible.  Me and a couple of buddies went there.  The place is nice but the service is terrible.  The man gave us a hard time so we picked up and left before we even got to try the food others on yelp said positive things about.  It blows my mind that an owner/manager would want to hassle his own customers.  Maybe he didn't want our money or business.  Perplexing because Oahu is a small place, so bad news travels fast.  I won't go there again and I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Went back to visit the islands and came here with some buddies to watch a March Madness game.  The place was empty, but that wasn't too much of a surprise since it was an early afternoon game on a work day.  

After enjoying our first round of drinks and ordering some food, the server came over and asked us if we wanted a 2nd round.  Being hungry, we said we'd prefer to wait until our food came, so we could have our beers with food.  

The owner (?) comes over and hassles us, saying we had to order another round or leave.  We tried explaining we had a food order in and we would get a round with the food, but he basically wasn't hearing any of it.  He basically told us we'd have to leave because we hadn't yet ordered the 2nd round.  The rest of my friends are Asian, but I'm half white, and I think I heard him say something about "frickin' Haole" as we all left.  

It's not like the place was packed and tables were at a premium.....the entire place was EMPTY except for us.  I guess a couple hundred dollars in food in drink during what would otherwise be a slow time wasn't welcomed by this establishment, so we took our business elsewhere.  

I suggest you do the same.
