Interesting place with a varied crowd on a Thursday night. Drinks were a little pricey but super strong, and even though it was crowded, we had no problem getting service. Â Its a DIVE and apparently the only drinking establishment in Pismo that doesn't close at 9 pm. Â Now, mind you- I love dive bars, but have to subtract a couple stars for two important reasons. Â One, it smells like an open sewer (not sure why) and when we were there, they had the absolute WORST karaoke I've ever heard blaring at about 10,000 decibels. The noise was so unbearable that we left and went to Mongo's up the road in GB. Â Pismo really needs another bar!
Review Source:Sitting here right now, ordered a shot of cazadores, paid $9 to notice it was in a tiny shot glass. Asked the bartender how many ounces...1 and a quarter!! What a rip off. Def take advantage of the travelers. Yes, one star for the live music but, anyone can have live music, doesn't cost them anything...will by the well drinks next time, although those are probably overpriced as well:/
Review Source:What to say about Harry's...Definitely gotten way too drunk here and slept in my car nearby. Also a friend of mine shared with me that the day she was born her mom went into labor here LOL so yes it has quite the dive bar reputation. You will occasionally see a lot of choppers parked outside.
Having a few pool tables is a plus, keeps me coming back occasionally.
I usually just stop in for a rolling rock or two, had a mean jack and coke here once though, they make them strong.
Stopped in to see the band once. It's the night to come in if you want to take a 50+ year old home.
