Came here by boat with my boat club. We were welcomed by the owner, and had just okay  service. My  burger came out with cheese, even though I ordered no cheese. I sent it back, & was told the cook "scraped off as much as possible". I could have done that! The prices were good, the staff was very friendly & the place was clean. The only thing that was weird was that there  were several regulars sitting at the bar,  who seemed to not really want outsiders in there.
Review Source:Came upon Haven Acres while searching for Bar & Grills around us. Â SOOOOOO Happy we tried them out. Â Love this place, the owners are super cool, the food was good and the beer was nice and ice cold. Â You are right on the river and they have a launch for boating. The view is awesome and you can sit outside, watch boaters and have a great time.
Can't wait to go back!!!
OK - so first, remember where you are, on the delta, and the setting is in a trailer park. Â If you can get over that, after a nice day on the water, this is about as good as it gets. Â Friendly staff, good food, reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere. Â Did I mention kid friendly? Â Latest we've been there is 9 or so on a Friday, and the music was loud, but everyone was having a good time. Â Will continue to make this a regular summer stop - and will try to make it a periodic stop in the winter months.
Also - free boat launch if you eat/drink, the ramp isn't great, but it works.
Chicken wrap is the best deal on the menu, although the terryaki burger is well worth the $6 or so you'll pay.
We have been going to Haven Acres for about 3 years now, mostly in the summer. Ever since Terri took over the place it has become even better! She has made much needed changes and her always pleasant attitude keeps us coming back. Don't be discouraged by the fact that it's in a trailer park! Check out the back patio, happy hour and say hi to Marti! Â You won't be disappointed!
