I stopped in for breakfast after dropping hubby off at the airport for an early flight. Â The food was good, the restaurant clean and the waitress pleasant. Â The coffee was VERY good, the food cooked properly although I prefer the sage and thyme breakfast sausage to the St. Louis sausage (which has more of a bratwurst flavor) that the Hen House served, but it was cooked just the way I asked, as were the eggs and bacon. Â I'm not a toast eater, but it was golden brown and generously buttered.
Review Source:Stopped for breakfast while traveling, randomly based on their name. What a surprise...but the full parking lot was a good indicator. We had waffles and a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, biscuits with gravy & coffee. Had the best hash browns I've had in many years & the best sausage gravy I've ever had! Great coffee and very good other items made this a breakfast favorite. We will definitely stop on next trip through.
