Heard good things so went to lunch there today. Dark, I could hardly see. Dark walls, dark tablecloths, dark floor. It was lunch by candlelight!!! Piped in music was loud and other customers spoke loudly to be heard. Decor is confusing with lots of dried flowers, Knick knacks, too much for that size room. Disappointed with menu-uninspired. Pricing is is fine but I got the crab cake sandwich with tomatoe and lettuce. Did not get the tartar sauce we asked for and how much thinner could you slice that tomatoe! Homemade chips heavy with grease and stale. Won't go back.
Review Source:I went there on Mother's Day and they had a special menu.
I ordered a Maryland crab soup, two crab cake dish, two filet with stuffed crab imperial. The sides are asparagus, mashed potato, green salad and cole slaw.
The food is great! Everything! I like the stuffed crab on the filet most. And the crab cake was also great!
The food was amazing, the cream of crab soup has SO MUCH crab. I had the blackened catfish, and it blew my mind. Everyone in our party  was pleased with their entree. However. They're trying to cultivate a fine dining atmosphere, but they're not quite there yet with their wait staff. I personally don't like hearing "who ordered the soup"  from the person I just ordered my soup from. Little things like that. But overall, a very positive dining experience.
