Hideout Pub

There is nothing that can make me happier than finding a great bar-bar. What's a bar-bar, you ask? Its a chill bar that is about drinks, and shooting the sh*t. Look up bar-bar abd the Hideout will be a perfect example.
The bawfriend and I came here on Tuesday to watch the Ragin Cajuns game. To my *not so* surprise,  the game was not on when we got there. I went up the to bar and asked if they could put the game on and he didnt hesitate to fulfill my request. The guys behind the bar are personable, witty and provide great service.
Drinks are cheap! Gotta love a place that understands paying more than 2.75 for a budlight is insane.
The bf cooked dinner that night so we only ordered an app of mozzarella sticks. I think an order came with 6 or seven cheese sticks, that were crispy and ooey gooey cheese in the middle. Very good.

I saw that they do reverse happy hours that start at 11pm. I plan on hitting that up!

I had a good time at Hideout and am looking forward to going back.

Always a good time to be had at The Hideout. The service is great as well as the atmosphere...mostly laid back, the buffalo chicken sandwich is the best i've found in Austin. Burgers and sliders are tastey and the Hot wings rank just under pluckers for me. Good local beer selection at low prices. Full bar with some tv's showing a mix of sports and classic movies inside, Nice patio out back. Best of all it's within walking distance from my house :D

Brought a group here and had excellent service.  It's a bit difficult to find which is probably ok with the regulars.  Good beer selection, although they were out of some things.  Reasonably priced burgers and pub grub

I would have rated it higher but I just didn't dig the vibe.  It's very dark inside and I felt like I was in a cave!
