The Hillside Bar & Grill

I had another lunch at Hillside.  This time it was an open-faced hot roast beef sandwich with brown gravy, and a side of real mashed potatoes.

Good stuff!!

Just east of Wright's Corners on Route 104 is the newly opened Hillside Bar & Grill.  What's special about the mild-mannered Hillside by day - is what happens on a Friday or Saturday night.  Each weekend Hillside is booking area Blues and Rock-n-Roll bands to fill the dance floor and outdoor patio.

They have an extensive bar menu with such signature items as Hillside Chowder (a hearty "fire house" style chowder), and a night time version of Home Made Potato Pancakes served with grilled onions and peppers and topped with melted chedder cheese.  They also feature comfort food such as: sandwiches, soups, pizza, wings, chicken fingers, tacos, subs - plus beef on weck and a variety of salads.   Menu prices are very reasonable with good sized portions.  

There are about 17 acres to The Hillside featuring a cool outdoor patio overlooking a pond complete with a wooded area and gazebo for outdoor parties.  If you're thinking about an outdoor party, come check out the space.

With expansion on the horizon and a clean new look, the Hillside wants you to rock the weekend with them.  The atmosphere is CAS so step up to the bar or watch the ladies rock it out on the dance floor.
