Hometown Cafe

I'm pretty sure we had the worst waitress in the whole world. The food was okay, although the sides are pretty small for the al a carte pricing. They are well-known for their homemade pies, but I was disappointed that my chocolate meringue pie was runny from being refrigerated for probably a day or two. The crust was disgusting, I left it on the plate.

Great food...excellent waitstaff...and dessert that is worth the calories!!

Finally stopped here for lunch after years of driving by and always seeing a full parking lot!! It is a nice family restaurant with friendly employees. I tried the Sunday buffet with fried chicken and ham and it reminded me of mom's dinners. Hubby had a bacon cheeseburger that was good size and very fresh. We would definitely return. The prices are super! The buffet, a drink and cheeseburger cost a total of $15 - you really can't beat that!
