Hotrods Diner

I love hotrods!  My parents live in the area, and every time we visit them we go here.  There are not many choices in the DeMotte-Wheatfield area, but you don't need choices when you have Hotrods!  

The interior is designed like a 50s-60s dinner.  The employees are what you would expect from a small town place.  The owners are always around, and the they are beyond nice!  

I have only ever ordered one thing, a double burger with sweat potato fries.  They know how to make a old-fashioned burger.  They do have a burger challenge.  I have never tired it.  I have enough of a problem finishing the double burger.  They put brown sugar on the sweat potato fires.  I like the sugar, but I can see how some people might think that is strange.  Just a FYI.

The only negative i can say about this place it that they do not have alcohol.  However, I can't mark them down for it because not many places serve alcohol around DeMotte.........the Dutch ruin everything.
