Houlihan's

Very disappointing. Stuffed mushrooms were room temperature. Ranch house steak salad was slathered in dressing (like cole slaw), had 4 tiny nuggets of steak and 3 tiny tomatoes. One salad had a long, brown hair on it (not mine!). When prompted by the waiter, we told him that the salads were gross, and he did nothing to fix the situation. $38 for 2 people to eat mediocre food (at best) is unacceptable.

Food was mediocre and the mixed drinks were terrible. Not sure if the bartender was having a bad day. Service was a bit slow, appeared the server was either tired or miserable. Won't be back anytime soon.

Solid experience every time.  After seeing a movie one Saturday night, my husband wanted to get something to eat.  Well, it was 11:45 at night and the ethnic family-restaurants we love in Jersey aren't open that late so we remembered Houlihans.  Since we didn't get there until midnight, we had one hour to get food (they stop serving food after 1am) but 2 hours to relax and eat our meals.

My husband ordered the potato soup and a strip steak and I had a big house salad.

The service was spot-on and my husband left a happy man.
