Big Chef L was correct, it is a dive bar. I gave it the "A-OK" rating because it wasn't bad. It was a weekday evening, and the only time that I have been in there. There were a few older guys in there that were nice enough. There was one suspicious character coming in to exchange coins for dollar bills (seemed like he was on drugs), but he was in and out. The bartender was nice and made a great drink. It was pretty cheap too. I probably wouldn't go back on a weekday unless my husband and I were interested in a late night walk, and craving a drink or beer we don't have at home.

From what I could tell, it is much livelier on the weekends and they have live cover bands which I am extremely interested in. I hope to walk down there on one of those evenings, and hey, maybe I will love it!

As far as dives are concerned, it doesn't get any better than this! This is the type of place were you can pay for 5 drinks with 12.00 and look like a hero when you give the bartender a 20 spot and tell him to keep the change! Keno is  like a bookend on each corner of the bar. Chinansky would be at home here!
