This place was okay. They had a decent selection of beers on tap but the food is "meh". I ordered "English Fish & Chips" and what they brought me was actually English Fish & Crisps. Potato chips do not belong on the same plate as fish. I'm not sure if they just don't know that the English call their french fries "chips" or if they were out of fries and hoped I wouldn't notice.
To be fair, I should have mentioned it to the bartender when she brought me my food(I'm paranoid no matter where I go that the cook is going to spit in my food). Instead I ate it and the fish was pretty good for fish you can find in Allentown.
An Irish pub on the West Side. Parking is on the street, as there is no parking lot. The place is rather small and the decor is quite dated and tired. The food is average bar food. They do have an extensive beer list, as well as a few specialty bar drinks. There are even a couple specialty shots available (one that looked appealing enough to be a possible cocktail). Live entertainment is offered from time to time. As a bar, it more of an A+ neighborhood type place, but as a restaurant it leans towards a C- place. If with friends and you want some place quiet to go for drinks, check it out.
