  I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn jazz or is already experienced. I came to this class because I was looking for a new music experience. I really did not know anything about jazz, but was interested in learning. Trying to learn to play jazz, let alone do so in front of other instrumentalists, could be an intimidating experience, but I have never found that to be the case in the Jazz Workshop.
  What I love most about this class is that the class is highly interactive. I come to the class each week knowing I will get to enjoy playing for two hours along with the other musicians in my class. At the same time, no musician is shortchanged personal instruction. Paul provides personal instruction to every student and makes sure that every student is learning.

  I've been going to the jazz workshop every week for three years, and I have found it to be a valuable component of my ongoing musical education.  It is also a great opportunity to meet other musicians.  Paul is a knowledgable and respected musician who has created a laid-back and comfortable environment for adults to learn to play jazz.
