Joel's Bar

Went in with my husband and 2 other couples for a drink one evening. We were completely ignored by the servers and the bartender said 'There you go' to all of us when we decided to leave after 10 minutes of waiting. I'm not really sure what the deal is here. Maybe it was because we are in our late 30's & early 40's? Maybe they don't welcome out of town visitors? Maybe it's a LGBT only bar? Whatever the reason, they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming to our group. Durango is such a friendly town & this was our only bad experience while we were visiting!  Do yourself a favor and go to the Diamond Belle, Rooftop Bar or The Irish Embassy instead!

Since Moe's decided go change its ways, we went to check out Joel's.  A great bartender, STRONG Martinis and a quaint atmosphere make this  a great setting to enjoy the company you are with.  WIll be a regular at Joel's on my frequent trips to Durango.
