Jones-eez Bar-B-Que

We had been here before and the food was average at best. Now a group of friends was planning a dinner ride and we had 22 people. It was confirmed with the owner for the time and date. We arrived and no one had a clue we were coming and they were not prepared. The bartender suggested that we get our drinks at the bar first. So several did so. They had another party book for 1.5 hours later and so we were told to go elsewhere since they weren't prepared and had only one cook. This after several people had purchased drinks.
Bad business all around. Sorry to say most had never been here before and confirmed that they would no be back.
Back to Kankakee for good barbeque.

First, I will say that this restaurant/bar looks very cool, very rustic, very clean.  I attempted to order a mixed drink, however, I was told if I want a mixed drink I would have to wait.  And the bartender/server never came back to me.  This was on a Friday about 5:00, the place was not busy (maybe 4 other people).  I planned on ordering food, but again, the server never looked my way again, even though I had a menu in front of me, so I left without eating or drinking anything.  This is, by far, the worst service I've ever experienced & will not be returning.

Not bad food for a bar, they seem to specialize in pulled pork (pulled pork nachos, pork tater skins, pork pizza). About 6 sides to choose from for most courses, Mac&cheese good, coleslaw tasted odd.
