  Nice selection of beers on tap. Good food. Service is usually cordial, and I've yet to see patrons from the damn-if-I-wouldn't-like-to-kick-you-in-the- nuts set. I don't frequent taverns so often anymore, so when I do, feeling comfortable in a place is all the more important. Jr's is a nice place to stop by to unwind or punctuate the day.

  Sign is up, food is being served, along with many beers on tap and hard drinks as well.
  Burgers were fabulous, many different kinds and huge.......really you could split one as the fries and tots were plentiful. (for those concerned, I didn't see a vegi burger choice...'-(
  
  Bartender was helpful with the Giants game on one screen and Nascar on another.
  note to staff: We've had friendlier service, you never know what is going on in someones life, however we are there to patronize the place. Note this was very early on a weekend night. And how about some low music since the t.v.s were mute (which I prefer).
  Wobbly tables that ALL needed to be wipped clean of drink rings....................gawwwd we want to 'eat'........
  
  Four star also because they have happy hour from 4-6pm ANY day they are open.
  WOW.........nice!.....
  Its a bar, I get it.........we will go again............

  On a recent outing the Stalker Club of Redding (S.C.O.R.) made a return trip to a recently opened Bar & Grill.  Jr's Across the Way Bar & Grill opened late last year in the old 21Taps building on Hartnell.  The Club went there right after they opened and felt we would let Junior have some time to get the Bar & Grill it's own identity.  We were all glad we waited because this place is going to be a place to reckon with in the Redding Bar scene.  If you have ever been in the old 21 Taps Bar you know they offer a lot of Beer on tap and Junior has not taken that away.  Prices are great and the beer is cold and very soon Jr's will have a full liquor license and have full bar service.  We were served by both Junior and Bridgett and the service was great and attentive.  The bar is large and features a lot of big screen TVs for sports including NASCAR.  Another identity Junior has going for him is the large menu items that he features.  The food is great and the menu is growing.  If you are out in Redding in that part of town go towards the Hen House and look across the way and you will find Jr's.  You might see the old 21 Taps sign but that will be changing soon.  The Stalker Club of Redding (S.C.O.R.) rates this bar a 4 out of a Six Pack and give it time it will be a Six.
