This throw back bar from the 70's, gave me the most memorable burger experience I've had in a long time. So much so, I wanted to order another one after I ate the first one.
There's something about a great burger, something that makes you think of where you were in the past, that gave you the same pleasurable memories. The Keg's grill must be a well seasoned piece of steel, as the flavors, the crisp outer surface, sent this burger to a diffrent level.
At the Keg, you get two burger options, first a plain package burger, and second there ultimate burger thats lettuce, tomato, jalapeño and cheese.I had option two, once again, it was way ahead of the boutique burger joints in Miami's South Beach, or New York City, it's all about that seasoned grill, actually I think there's more, as the staff takes pride in what they do!
The beers cold, and good, nah great burgers!
This used to be the place to go to after Flora-Bama closed and they could stay open really late/very early. Â The Keg was to Gulf Shores as F&M's is to New Orleans. Â I had some great times during some early morning crazy times with fun bands playing here. Â Sadly they have changed their stupid laws in Orange Beach so that they no longer let this great dive stay open late and I'm afraid that will have killed its main draw and left it a shadow of its former self.
