  K&J's is a small classic Wisconsin bar like one you would find between any two cities on a quiet roadside throughout the state.
  
  I would say that the place is completely unremarkable if it were not for the Fried Chicken and Friday Fish.   I am not sure what it is, but the place can make some great Chicken.
  
  You will enter through the bar which might seat a total of 10 people and has 2 tables for an extra 4-5 people maybe in the main bar.   In the back is a underutilized, unloved seating area that might seat 20 people.    There is a TV  back there, but I have never seen it turned on.
  
  The drinks are fairly priced and they have a limited selection of beers on tap which usually include one local micro and some kind of micro from one of the big breweries.
  
  The crowd is largely older angry drunks with a couple younger blue collar types.
  
  I guess I am having a hard time putting into words why this is a 5 Star place, but you will just have to either take my word or visit for yourself.  
  
  Pure Wisconsin Bliss + Fried Chicken = 5 Stars (from me and Mayhem.)
