Our local Veteran's Alliance sent out e-mails to all Veteran's in the area about freebies given by local establishments to Veterans, Krispy Kreme was one of the places on the list. You got a free doughnut for stopping by. Â My wife and I stopped by the location on South Campbell for our free doughnut. We were thinking about buying some more doughnuts and some coffee. When we inquired about the Veteran special, we were told quite rudely by the manager that the Veteran's Alliance had not asked them about the offer and that they were participating. So, on the way out I thanked them for their support of Veterans. Needless to say, we will never be back. They lost customers over 2 doughnuts. Not very smart!
Review Source:This is the worst Krispy Kreme location I have visited. Â Granted, I've only been to five or six total, and don't go too often...but this one has disappointed my family and I on at least four visits in the past few years. Â It is dirty even when it's not busy at all. Â How hard is it to take a damp rag over the sticky crumb-laden tables? Â When going inside for our order we have never been given a freebie when the hot light is on. Â I don't even like the glazed donuts but this was disappointing when we took relatives there (a first for them) and they didn't get the real "Krispy Kreme experience". Â My husband is a big fan and even though we live much closer to this one...we now drive across town to the far superior Campbell location (which by the way still has blueberry cake...the guy at Glenstone store said "Krispy Kreme doesn't do those anymore" and a couple of weeks later we got them on Campbell)!
