My love-hate relationship has turned into disdain.

I stopped in on Saturday with a girlfriend for drinks and I expected the usual- slow but decent service, good drinks, and thumping Euro music. Great.

Everything but the music was utterly disappointing. We got there around 11:30 pm, and although it was pretty busy, not more than usual- yet it took me 15 minutes to track down a waitress and ask her for a menu. We sat upstairs and I assume they must HATE walking up and down the stairs- fine, I can overlook that.

She brought us menus after another 15 minutes-food menu but no drinks menu. I asked her for one, she said, and I kid you not, she actually said this to me:

" I might be able to bring you one, not now though, but soon." I looked at her and said, "you have a drink menu, but you can't bring me one?" "Yes, I can't give you one."

Seriously? Just bring me a goddamn martini.

By the time we asked for the check and change, she forgot that I asked her to bring me change and it took her another solid 20 minutes to do all this. Cool.

So let's add this up:
15 minutes to get a waitress
15 minutes to bring a menu
10 minutes to bring us drinks
roughly 25 minutes between asking for the check and bringing change

That's literally more than an hour combined in poor service.

I agree with past reviewers that the service here is pretty bad. The waitresses take forever to get to you even though the place is not busy at all. However, they have decent drink prices (I got a massive glass of wine for about $5) and the fact that you can get sushi or a hearty polish meal within the same establishment is pretty awesome. It has a very trendy, euro, & modern look and I heard the dance area in the back is huge (have not had a chance to check it out). If you go here just remember that the food & drinks here are pretty good but the service not so much.
