    The service has always been good. I'm not a huge fan of the food though. I'm from Arizona so I was anticipating more Mexican than American. Just a little disappointed but the service made up for what the food could not deliver.

    It's the American version of Mexican food, made by Mexican-Americans.  Greasy and flash fried.  Typical order by number or they have some fancier stuff.  If you go here expecting the food to taste exactly like it did at that resort in Mexico you will be disappointed.  On the other hand, I would put La Carreta up against any Mexican place in the US at the same price point.

    Madison Heights has 2 La Carreta's, this is the newer and cleaner of the two.
