We took part in a family function dinner in the back banquet room. They had the tables set up in long rows. Only 2 servers for a group of about 60 people. Thought service would be slow and poor, but it was just the opposite. Very impressed by their attentiveness.
I had a bowl of beef noodle soup ($4.09) and added a grilled cheese sandwich for $2.25. Â Soup was tasty. Â Grilled cheese sandwich was decent. Â My mom had the chef salad ($6.99) which she liked. My brother had the 12 oz. prime rib special ($16.99) with mashed potatoes and gravy. Â He said it was good and was cooked as specified. His dinner came with the unlimited salad bar, which was just comical. The options were just lettuce, cottage cheese, croutons, macaroni salad, and dressing!
There were lots of items on the menu. I'm sure there is something here for everyone. Not a bad meal considering there aren't many places to eat in Storm Lake.
