Latona Pub

Latona Pub is one of those friendly neighborhood bars that is super busy between 5 and 7 on a weeknight but also super chill late on a weekend night when you want to go out but not *out*. They have live jazz on Fridays around 5-7pm (I forget exactly when), making it a great place to stop by after a long week.

The food is really good - not typical greasy bar food - and has plenty of healthy options.   (In fact, they don't even have a fryer, so if you're craving fries, you'll want to go elsewhere.) We frequently come here for dinner, even if we're not aiming for a bar. The tomato soup is amazing - pair it with the duck confit salad and you'll be pleasantly full of noms. Latona steamers, hummus plate, and chicken sandwiches are also great.

As far as beer selection goes, they always have a large rotating tap list with a wide variety of beers written on chalkboards above the bar. The servers are knowledgeable and can recommend a beer based on my (limited) taste in beers.

All in all, Latona pub is awesome to have just down the street from my place, and it's one of the top places in the Greenlake area!

One of those loud, cramped places that is TOTALLY worth it.

Great food.

Their hummus plate is amazing. Their cheese plate is amazing. (Came with honey and some apricot spread thing).

Tacos were good - not great - but my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich and... well, I wish I got that instead! So delicious. (Fontina cheese - can't go wrong).

Recommend.

(Parking is pretty convenient in this area too, and free).

What's to say that hasn't been said before? The meatloaf was the goods, the beer selection was great. The only issue and it was minor was the mac and cheese was a bit runny last time we were there. the taste was spot on and the bread they served with the mac juice made for a kicking taste explosion....
