Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

This place is one of our 'there's-too-much-to-do-and-to-little-time-­tonight' dinner places. It's not bad and it's nothing to rave about.

But then there's the service. Each time I'm there and there's a bit of wait I'm offered a free drink. Ok, that's nice.

And then last night I helped my wife pick up a huge order of chicken and sides. Several large boxes of poultry were being lined up. We brought two cars. I grabbed a box. My wife grabbed a box. We could do this is about 6 trips I thought. Easy enough.

But then the entire staff chipped in without asking and helped load up the car. They didn't have to do that. Honestly, they didn't look the type to do it but they did it. And they did it smiling.

That's nice.

The next time we have a 'there's-too-much-to-do-and-to-little-time-­tonight' night, we'll be going here.

Cheap fast lunch 2 piece chicken with 2 delicious sides Slaw and Mashed. 6 bucks and change. Hot Greasy yummy. perfect picnic lunch headed to James Taylor Park picnic table. Great river view.
