Legends

Not bad. Not terribly good. An okay place. I came here for the very first time to celebrate my friend Michiyo's 21st birthday. Since she's from Japan I decided to initiate her in the fine American art of a 'dive bar'.

She had fun, is all that matters.

And I came here a second time because I was in desparate need for a drink after a night in hell *Western Career College*. That night, I got fairly toasted and this lady kept buying everyone at the bar drinks. And she gave me plenty of 1800 shots *I loved her that nights*.

Decent place.

I only come here during the day.  Gosh, that sounds bad.  LIke I am busy drinking during the day.

There are occassions, however that I do like a nice cold cocktail in the afternoon with my man.  My man happens to know the owner.  He used to be their beer guy back in the day.  They've formed a friendship - so I'm down!

Pedro hooks us up with some Strong Islands and away we go.  They have pool tables and a cage you can dance in.

I agree with the other two reviews that the night time crowd can be uhhhmmmm.......scummy (?)  violent (?)  trashy (?) so I keep my four stars here for the calmer afternoon Coors LIght drinking bunch!

This place is only a good time if you are wearing a bullet proof vest.  Stabbings, fights, 50 man riots in the parking lot are all common place for Legends.  I went in there one time and all these scary looking people wearing 50 cent clothing were staring at me like I was fresh fish on the line.  There was a DJ playing god awful music with fat chicks in tank tops shaking their ass cellulite all over the dance floor.  Dear fat chicks, the word tank in tank tops doesn't refer to the size of the shirt.  Stop wearing them.  Just a few weeks ago I drove by and they had one of those spot/search lights you usually see for places when they have grand openings.  Anyways, I thought wouldn't it be cool if they attracted all the scumbags of Antioch into 1 bar and had the local police department on stand by to gas the entire bar like Sadam did to the kurds?  Man, I bet antiochs crime rate would drop 250%.
