Li'l Guys

Been here three times and liked it enough to finally write a 5-star review.

First time I came, I got the Li'l Guy 2 Pack, a combo of 2 li'l guy sandwiches, a 1/2 pint of a side of your choice and a drink for $7.90. The li'l guy sandwiches are quite small, more of a snack, but coupled with the 1/2 pint side (I got coleslaw, which was good, but very safe and nothing new) it was a pretty decent lunch. The roasted veggie li'l guy was nice and crisp and fresh.

The egg salad sandwich was what blew me away. Homemade fresh daily egg salad with lettuce and tomato on two thick pieces of Hawaiian bread. The bread was thick and filling without being overpowering, with a wonderful sweetness to it that really complemented the egg salad. Other restaurants may have better egg salad (if you wanted to just get a 1/2 pint of egg salad to go, for instance), but this was one of the best egg salad SANDWICHES I've ever had.

Plus, the pizzas they sell from My Pie (same owner) were delicious in their own right. Reasonable prices for a full pie, or grab an individual slice by the door (with a daily special every day, usually something like mushroom or spinach). Their cream of mushroom soup was the only thing I tried over my three trips what would get a negative or even average review. Everything else was well-above average, affordable, and came with great customer service and speedy preparation.

I can see myself coming back here for a long time.

Interesting sandwich combos, but not enough sandwich for $10.

there ain't nuthin' lil' about these guys.  they are all about normal-sized dudes.  if they WERE little, i would have a slight problem.  if you know me, you know why.

when i'm feelin' a little cliff huxtable and need a huge hoagie, i come here.  i MYO sandwich - french bread, turkey + salami, cheddah cheese, dijon, a sprinkle of mayo, pickles, lettuce, and if i wanna really be a lady, some red onion.  hopefully i won't die of a heart-y.  i would not be satisfied if my attorney wife fed me rice cakes.

add some of those fancy terra chips to it.  if dr. huxtable can wear those sweaters, i can add swag chips to my order.
