Lime Lake Snack Bar

For what it is, the Lime Lake Snack Shack is exactly what I would want it to be. They serve up the standard roadside stand fare and do it well with good prices.

My dad and I were famished after a round of golf on Father's Day and I was thrilled that he had heard of this place. Nothing fancy but the people serving we're really pleasant and there is a nice view of the lake if you sit outside. He enjoyed his burger and my Texas hot hit the spot perfectly. The Sahlens dog had a good grilled flavor and the hot sauce was one of the best I've had. Not too greasy and mixed with mustard it really added to the total package unlike a lot of hot sauces we get in Rochester. 20 oz Pepsi brand bottles are cheap and ice cold.

They also serve Perry's ice cream for hot days and the standard fare that goes along with that.

A winner a bit off the beaten path!
