After a day of scuba diving at Lake Rawlings, we were in search of food. There's a Subway and Dunkin Donuts, and the Nottoway restaurant near the lake, but we wanted to try something different. We thought about the Nottoway restaurant but it was closed (we were told they close for the week in early July every year). The lady at the Nottoway Motel told us about Little Italy.
This is a cute little place, but there's a considerable amount of rusty vents and what looks like black mold on the ceiling tiles. The tables were clean, and there really wasn't any off-putting odors, and because we were hungry we decided to give it a try. We ordered the  Stromboli and a plain cheese pizza with added spinach. The Stromboli was ok, but I loved the pizza. The crust was one of the better ones I've had that didn't come out of a wood or coal fired oven.
If you're in the area and diving at Lake Rawlings, I'd definitely recommend this place for good pizza. Just don't look up at the ceiling tiles. :)
