  This is a better choice than the fast foods near by. The Fettuccine Alfredo sauce was very good but the pasta was over cooked. Too bad. The red sauce on the spegheitte was also very good and the spegheitte was cooked well.  As a New Yorker I am use to very good Italian food. This place would not make it in NY but in this part of VA it is a nice change from the chain restaurants. Since the sauces were good I would think the pizza's would be a good bet.

  Had eggplant parm. And fettuccine Alfredo

  We always stop here on our way back from down south.  Being from NY I am picky about pizzas. They do not disappoint. The cheese is good but the white is my favorite. But be advised it is heavy on the garlic. Just the way it should be.

  Who would have thought You could find great Italian food in a place like this! Thank goodness for other Yelpers that allowed me to find the place! Small quaint restaurant with very friendly service...and the food and wine was great!! This exit only has other fast food like Denny's and Subways, but if You drive up the road a little more You will find this jewel. If I"m ever traveling this way again, I will definitely stop there!

  All I can say is wow. Italian food done right. I got the chicken piccata and it far exceeded my expectations. The sauce was the perfect combination of lemon, wine, and capers. The staff was very friendly and the visit was pleasant. I will return if I am ever in the area.

  On a evening trip back from D.C. this place was exactly what I needed.  The 4th star is just for location, it was the only place off the exit ramp that wasn't fast food or a chain. Right off the interstate and generous carb filled portions.  The parking lot was filled and the place seemed to be popular with travelers and locals. I had the eggplant parmigiana and no complaints from me.  If you are driving past and hungry -- you won't regret going here.

  I ate here today, after having not been there in almost two years. They had good food when I had been there on prior visits, but that wasn't the case today. I had a very mediocre sandwich and the two others in my party had spaghetti with meat sauce that arrived with water standing in the plate. Upon informing the waitress that it was a little watery, we were told "That happens after it settles in the pan." May I again say water was sitting in the plate, pooled under the spaghetti.  No remedy was offered, nor was an apology. Upon receiving the check, we put an amount that was over the total, and had already left the tip on the table, yet never received our change, so the tip was taken off the table and we left without a "Thank you," "Please Come Back," or anything. This was a day trip at 5:00....my advice... skip it. I think something has happened to the Little Italy I used to love!

  Not many around here for dinner.  It was between Little Italy, Denny's or fast food.  The place was busy, and the food was OK.  I might give it another try the next time I'm here.
