Little River Grill

Have not been back to eat here in two years because of the bad food and overpriced menu. Tried again on 7/1/13 and once again the food sucked, will not be back unless it's just for drinks. Hamburger was a frozen Bubba Burger judging by the shape, hushpuppies were all burnt along with the chicken fingers. With a smaller menu you would think they could get basic items correct but no such luck. Staff was outstanding but the kitchen/cooks need some help.

With tip - $19.38 for "lunch" Grouper finger basket - wish I could include a picture - it was awful

I have to update this review.  I wanted to stare at the lake one day so we took the kids back over there.  

I was going to keep it simple and stay away from the items in blue "see below review" and just hope for the best.

Good news!!  It has either changed owners hands or they lit the old menu on fire and got wise to the fact that their food sucked.  I am guessing the former.

They have simplified the menu and gone with the fried seafood / sandwich burger approach.  It isn't the creme de la creme of eateries but I can now at least enjoy it for what it is and not what it was trying to be (and failing completely).

Fried fish, oysters, scallops with a beer looking at the sun set over lake alatoona isn't a bad way to spend a night with the family.

Average food but you can't beat the view.  I can go back now and order something other than beer.
