Beautiful venue, just within walking distance to some great places to eat.
Ventured there with my fiance to see Louis CK.
The ushers were very helpful when I realized I had purchased two tickets in the same row with the seats right next to each other, but in different sections. I'm such an idiot sometimes!
They directed us to the box office, where the gentleman listened, apologized, and relocated us to an even better section!
So amazing.
I can't wait to go back.
My family's first trip to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium was on Friday Nov ember 23rd to see the Cake Boss show. We were very excited to see the show but as soon as we got there...no one could find out Groupon will call tickets so we had to wait around until 7:30 (when the show was supposed to start). Luckily (?), you had several technical difficulties which delayed the show by almost an hour. But even when the show did start, it was fraught with more technical difficulties. The camera never worked, it was in black and white when it did work and it was extremely awkward. My family and I were enjoyed the show but we were disappointed.
Review Source:I have worked on the sound crew a lot of venues in New England, and I'm very impressed with the changes made here over the last few months.
They've installed a half a mil in new sound equipment now flown above the front rows giving a fuller sound to any performance. Â
If you haven't been here before, it's a great size venue, and facility.
Despite the lack of parking, this a perfect place for events too small for the DCU center, and too big for the palladium.
