Completely surprised by the food. Â
If you are visiting Pomme de Terre lake and don't want to cook out or spend a long day on the boat and relax with an amazing meal go for Lucky's. Â When my friend, a regular lake weekender, said the food was really good, I thought yeah well, we won't have to cook, but thinking it was a substitute for a great grilled meal. Â Not so! Â
I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo and it was the best alfredo I've had and the smokey flavor of the blackened chicken really made it special. Â Others had the filet medallions and they were cooked to order and very good, had to have a taste! Â
Cocktails carry quite a punch, no skimping there and staff is friendly and more than accomodating. Â Which is why you'll see many a local having dinner here as well.
That says alot.
Lucky's is located right on Pomme de Terre lake on 64B Hwy. Ask a local and they will point you in the right direction. Based mostly off regurlars and vacationers who spend the summer up on the lake. Every weekend is a pretty good crowd. On Saturday night theres always a band playing. The staff loves to socialize with the customers and make the experience even better! I would know..i used to work there :P They serve food til nine and it's absolutly amazing. Try the Talapia...you'll be hooked.
