Main Street Sweets

Really great decor and cool antique car in the front of this business to attract your attention. I was hoping they would have custom baked treats for me to try, but they're more of an ice cream shop then a custom bakery. Lucky for me they at least had some brownies that were quite moist & pretty good.

They had a selection of about 14 ice cream flavors but I didn't really look at them since I wasn't in the mood for ice cream. The owner of the shop also owns the Camillia House bed and breakfast in town too. He started up the ice cream parlor back at the beginning of 2012 because he was tired of corporate jobs and the lack of job security they gave as a man in his older years.

Seems like a great little local spot and a guy dropped in while I was in there because he was headed to the beach and decided to get a little ice cream on his way. Many of the drop in customers are those types, just passing by and they notice the cool car.

I will have to try the ice cream next time I am passing by too.
