My husband and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend at Mancuso's and had an excellent meal. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. The bread basket came with a variety of breads and olive oil w/garlic cloves for dipping...delicious! I had the Risotto Frutta di Mare and my husband had Chicken Francese, both provided great portions. The atmosphere is traditional and cozy. The owner told us that they had recently enclosed/remodeled the outdoor patio for dining and parties. We had a great experience and are looking forward to visiting again soon!Review Source:
Note to owner, (Sal, I believe) don't send out coupons if you're not going to honor
them graciously. Â Note to customer, prepare to be hassled.
We had a party of 18, yes 18 - and we had to request numerous times for the $10, yes it was only $10 - how rude and how very CHEAP!
Go for the bread, garlic and olive oil and if you have a discount of any type, you will be made to feel insignificant.
Went there tonight, April 6, 2013. Â It was a busy Saturday night..arrived about 7:30PM and they had a wedding rehearsal dinner in the back room. Â We were seated quickly, and ordered within 5 minutes. Â Fresh bread and some spreadable garlic cloves in oil were brought over. Â The server came over 3 times to tell us our entrees would be out in a few minutes. Â She apologized and attributed the delay to the party in the back. Â Our entrees arrived at 8:50PM. Â Even though we waited over an hour for our food we weren't offered any more bread...no one came around to make sure our water glasses were filled. Â Even once our dinner arrived...no more water. Â Didn't quite understand it...there was plenty of help in the restaurant...at least 4-5 servers plus several people helping with cleaning tables and bringing over drinks from the bar. Â Food was OK. Â I had chicken parm and that was pretty well made, my wife had chicken florentine and that was not so tasty. Â There's a lot of competition in this town as far as Italian restaurants. Don't think this one is much better than the middle of the heap.
PS - I used to come here when it was Three Brothers and we liked it. Â Then it tried to go upscale with Mancuso's and we weren't impressed. Â Had not been back for 4-5 years until tonight. Â It's a reliable decent meal..not a standout.
