Mangiamo Italian Grill

Disgusting, also i know a chef from my job who used to work their, he told me the truth about the place and how they say their food is "fresh" yeah its all frozen, and it is overpriced.

I've been meaning to review this place. I went here with my brother when it first opened. I have never had such a miserable meal in Saline before.

FOOD: The pasta dishes were doused in overly thick and chalky alfredo sauce. The vegetables were clearly from a can, not fresh. The was also true of the salad my brother had as an appetizer.

PRICE: Way over priced for the food quality! I am okay with paying 15 dollars a dish if the pasta is of high quality and flavorful. But it just wasn't up to par for the price.

SERVICE: We had an older woman who seemed not enthused to be there. She took her time filling up our drinks and barely made any appearances at the table.

The decor and music of the bar side we were seated on was dreadful as well. It wasn't very bar like or restaurant like. Just like someone very confused had control when putting it together. Overall these people should have stuck to running Mickey's Dairy Twist which is awesome, Mangiamo not so much.

My family of four went during the week.  We were the only ones there.  We ordered the brushette it was soggy with some melt stuff and vinegar on top, instead of fresh veggies.  It was not good.  My husband order the overpriced steak.  $20 and the steak came out gray it looked like it was boiled.  He said it was the worse he has ever had.  I had the chicken parm and it was sub par.  My kids didn't complain but didn't like it to much.  I loved that their was a small business in my hometown.  We have been there twice and we won't go back.  I'm disappointed that a place could be so good but isn't.  I wanted to call Kitchen Nightmares for them.  Overpriced for blah food.
