It's me again!  Thank you for the great food & drinks on Mother's Day!  Stephanie & Lisa were great!  We had 15 for dinner.  Everyone's food came out at the same time.  You can count on us for 5/22/13 Boston Strong seating!  We even won at Keno!!  Thank you again your the best!!!

We've driven past Matty's numerous times before and joked about the sign that says "since 2012". Tonight we finally decided to stop in for drinks and apps. The food is good and drinks are decent, but the service is incredible and is what will have us coming back again and again. We only had calamari (delish) and a salad, but many of of the entrees we saw go by looked amazing. Our waitress could not have been more wonderful and on the ball. She thought of things you didn't even know you needed. We cannot recommend Matty's enough!

Don't bother.  Were looking for casual night out with appetizers and a drink at the bar.  Bar service was terrible (one barely cracked a smile, the other had no clue), dishes and glasses were dirty (nothing says "welcome" like a gritty glass and a greasy  appetizer plate), and food was mediocre at best (think: Applebee's).  Too bad, it had potential.

Took my girl out looking for a good pub to hang out at.  We saw the reviews of Marty's and decided after reading the reviews we would give it a try.  We got there and liked the bar setup.  There was seating available at the bar even being 6pm on a Saturday night.  That was good.

Although we didn't see many people ordering food at the bar we decided to check out the menu.   It appeared to be nothing more than one would find at a 99 or Applebee's.  No signature dishes being produced from run of the mill cooks.  A better menu although kind of the same would be found at Sylvan Grille.

It's one and done for us. In the future we hope they turn the lighting down a bit to make it more homey and less commercial.  And create good food that's different and special in the back kitchen.

I'm in love. I've gone every week since my first encounter.

The food is delicous and the sauces/dressings are all homemade. The food taste fresh and so does the atomesphere.
The enviroment was great too. Everyone was so friendly and having a good time

I also had the best service I've ever expierence at a restaurant. So

    Matty's amazing job... A+

Something about this place just made my night perfect. Was it the atmosphere? Was it the company? Was it the Keno? Was it the food?
All, I can truly say is, YES to Matty's.

Matty's Food and Spirits lays on the old Uno's ground. Not sorely missed. This is quite the turn around for food. The night was busy, but my friend and I were quickly seated. In the middle of the room, you will notice a beautiful mahogany bar, with fountains of golden elixirs.

Food is fantastic! The menu is reasonably priced. Service is prompt and assures your hungry pallet.
Once we sat down, I couldn't help but noticed that all the surrounding tables ordered the nachos. We followed suit. And, I suggest for you to do the same.

Complimentary warm and crusty Foccacia (or was it Cibatta?) was also served with spiced olive oil. (Needless to say, it was good.)

Looking all around, there are TVs everywhere! So, never miss a game! (Keno or sports!)

Ample parking in the front. Clean granite bathrooms. Desserts that make you change your mind about wanting to lose a few dress sizes. Yes, everything great about a restaurant has a giant check mark for Matty's.

Something else about this place? It seems to attract a certain target audience. Mid-age locals. Just sayin'...

But whoever it attracts, this place just makes me anxious and hungry for more.

Let me start by saying I enjoy coming to Matty's. The food is good and the couple of bartenders that I've met are great. Paul learned mine and my friends drinks by the third time we were in there. Things like that make this place a great place to go. I've met a couple managers having been there a couple times, everyones been extremely freindly mike (goatee) and ive also met a young blonde manager. Both were friendly and helped out the staff. Tonight however, I felt like more of a nuisance than a customer. Paul was great as usual , but the manager Mike was not. This Mike was a lot different than the other Mike I had met weeks before. I felt unwelcome and I didnt appreciate his attitude or demeanor. He acted as if it was a chore to be there. Everything else was great which was why I was so dissapointed with this particular manager.

This is a wonderful new addition to the Liberty Tree Mall area. I have been to Matty's at least a dozen times now. The food and service is consistently very good. The owner is there much of the time and pays close attention to his customers. My favorites are the seasonal salad, salmon and the burgers. The prices are easy on y wallet too!

Great food, great beer, great service.  We tried burgers, sandwiches, pasta and seafood and all were great.  Lisa, our waitress, was outstanding and made it a great first visit for us.

Cool place to hang at the bar and watch a game.  Just ate a delicious seafood "bayou" dish over rice!  Good beers, great bartenders and one fantastic General Manager.  I believe he said his name was Michael Bonneli.  Overall would recommend!

Had a phenomenal experience at here the other day!  The Manager Mike Bonelli was great and let me know about a lot of great up coming events that they are offering and going to be offering.  Never seen a manager so warm and social before, I will return.

Found this place while driving around on Saturday night. We were seated right away at 7pm. The place has plenty of T.V.'s with all the sports on. It;s a sports bar, so yes it's a little on the loud side. If you want quiet, don't go to a sports bar !!

The onion ring appetizer was served super hot and it was very good.  We also really liked the warm lightly toasted bread with herb-oil.  For our main meals we had the Chipotle Mac & Cheese (added chicken to it for extra $$) and the Chicken Satay.  Both meals were deliver in good time and super hot. Both meals were also very tasty. We didn't eat it all so we could split a dessert. The Fried Chiquita Banana with vanilla ice cream was good but nothing great.

Overall the whole experience was enjoyable and we would go back to Matty's anytime we are in the area !!!   The waitress was very helpful, nice and checked on us many times to see if everything was good and to see if we needed anything.

Our bill for 2 meals, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert & 1 martini was only $55.00   very good for what we got !!!

Tried to eat there, but my 34 year old friend was denied alcohol with a state ID even though he is from another country....looked like a good place though.

My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new tonight, and so we remembered that there was a place in Danvers.  I actually thought it was still 7's and wasn't planning to go to a "sports bar" but apparently the place changed hands.  (This location has changed hands maybe 4 times since Uno's left 10+ years ago.  Odd.)

In any case, the menu looked okay, albeit a bit pricey and we decided to try it anyway.  When we went in, it was quite loud from televisions, since the football game had just ended.  it quieted down about 15 minutes later, the lights were turned down and the music came on...much better.  Booths are very large.  Seating is mostly in one large room with the large bar area in the middle--not particularly cozy, but the decor is nice.

I ordered a burger, which was quite good.  Steak fries were average, but plentiful.  He ordered the calamari appetizer, which also was particularly tender and tasty.  The bread is warm and toasty with a nice herbed oil for dipping--yummy.

For dessert, we ordered the apple churros, which aren't really churros at all, but more like apple pastries with ice cream on the side.  Still pretty tasty.

The most shocking part was the espresso.  He ordered a single shot.  The server was kind enough to bring us a double shot at "no additional cost,"  which was nice, but I figured she had made a mistake with the machine.  In any case, nice.  So, when we get the bill, it shows $6 for an espresso.  hmmmm....  Curious, I asked our server if that was the price for  a single or if she ended up charging us for a double.  She looked at us a bit sheepishly and said it was the price for a single!  (And, that is why she gave us a double, realizing herself, I'm sure, that it was crrrrazy to charge customers $6 for a single shot of espresso!)   YIKES!

So, overall, we were both pleased with the taste of the food and the quantity was fine...we were both full.  HOWEVER, I wouldn't make a trip back to pay their prices ($12 for a burger and fries, $10 for calamari....about 15%-20% more than other suburban joints of the same type)  and certainly will NOT order espresso there!! That price is just weird.

I can't remember what the name was before (7's?) but it is now "Matty's".  We decided to give it a try.  We typically eat at the bar and the bar is very nice.  The bar service is excellent, attentive but not intrusive and the food was really very good.  My martini gets 5 stars!  Plenty of large TVs all around and plenty of large Keno screens if you like to play Keno.  The only complaint is that it is a bit pricier than other places and the portion sizes are smaller.  We like it for a change of pace.  The bar is usually pretty full most nights.

My girlfriend and I were seated promptly (although we did have to ask someone as the front booth was unattended) Our waitress Lisa was a charm, witty, attentive and prompt. I had the St Louis ribs and my girl had the Sunkist salad with salmon. Both of our meals were perfect, good quality, ample portions and we both liked the fact that the vegetables were cut small for ease of eating. My only negative was the seating (my pet peeve) They were the bench style seating where the people behind you can shake, rattle and roll you while you eat if they fidget too much (as was the case although very minor compared to some) The price was a little high for Tavern style seating ($21.00 for the ribs) but was overall still a great experience for us.

Must have had the same bar tender as John and agree about the burger being salty.  Salty to the point that I couldn't eat it anymore.  I have been there several times and this time took the cake!
The bartender Melissa must have dropped and or broken a dozen things...bottles/glasses/plates/dished.  She also was not very attentive.  Had to ask twice for another beer when glass was empty, people next to use had to ask several times for bread.  The manager kept telling the bartenders to save all the wine and liquor bottles so they would know what to restock.  The one bar tender continued to throw them all away, walk away from him while talking and rolling her eyes.  She was very vocal about being the new person there and acted like she was the best thing since sliced bread.  I have never seen a bar tender be so disrespectful, also refusing to get the food from the kitchen.  Every order that came out was coded to the same seat at the bar regardless of who ordered so the kitchen would walk aimlessly asking who ordered the food.
The two other bar tenders were great, personable, calm and collected.
