rad pool tables, 5 to choose from, and for a small bar, thats rad. darts, shuffleboard, and computerized games and music.
Guy bartender is SOO sweet and makes a mean drink. the curly haired girl bartender is a little slower and kinda in her own world, and has massive cleavage (but hey, rock it girl!), and the blonde bartender just seems like she hate's to work in general.
Guy bartender totally makes ordering drinks easy and hes very friendly.
$3 shot specials and they change each month. not a big selection of draft beer which blows, and they should deffinitely get some microbrew in.
SEVERAL TVs, so something to please everyone.
clean bathrooms, fun atmosphere, hidden location, LOTS of regulars, .. you deffinitely become a part of the community environment when you go in more than once. its like a family.. who loves to drink and kick your butt at pool.
totally cool with it
bring in bacon or order it from denny's across the street and get BREAKFAST SHOTS
I was here yesterday and as I arrived this place was a bit tucked in the corner next to a liquor store. I was sort of doubting about this place since I read the great reviews and stuff and just looking at the outside of this place I could see why people thought it could be a small bar.
Boy was I wrong! This place had about 5 pool tables (one which is a blacklight) shuffle board, Darts and pinball. On top of that I liked how clean this dive was and the people who go here were regulars. They have a full bar and the drinks are extremely cheap! They even have monthly shot specials in which I took advantage of...$3!!!
The opening bartender was pretty cool, she was very talkative with every guest that walked through. I got to meet the closing bartender and she was cool too, I dont understand why this place isnt hyped up as much, but I will continue to come here and support this local bar.
The town I grew up in had a Maxdon's as well (whomever this Maxdon character is, they must really get around), so when I needed a bar to meet some friends at, this place popped in my head. Â
I like old school looking bars. Â The type that haven't been truly updated, aesthetically, Â since it opened. Â Maxdon's does not disappoint in that department. Â The coolest part about the age on this place though, is that it's super neat and clean. Â You would expect it to be thrashed and abused, but it isn't.
The pool tables are in great shape, the jukebox is digital (which is always great for me), the service is good and the drink prices are average. Â
This just got added to my top five favorite drinking establishments in north county. Â I'm looking forward to my next drop in.
