What can you say about McDonald's? Â Some locations are newer, some older. Â Some more clean, some dirty. Â Some more professional, some less so. Â
Therefore I typically don't bother writing a review for these places. Â So why this one? Â Architecturally middle aged, but the hard wood section gives it a bit more homeyness than the average McDs. Â It's cleaner than most and the service was prompt and friendly. Â The main reason I decided to write a review is the dinosaur theme. Â Out front you're greeted with a Brachiosaorus and T-Rex in a zoo like enclosure and inside you have faux dino-parts on display with descriptions. Â Nice work on taking a slightly different take on the sameness of the chain. Â
Slow down here and just look around. Â It's cool enough for that.
It's McDonald's.
What were you expecting? Â This one is also ALWAYS INSANELY BUSY. Â I don't know if it's the proximity to 985 or Gainesville State but every time I've tried to use the drive-thru it has been an ordeal with cars stacked six deep. Â I'm sorry, it's not THAT good.
(On the other hand, apparently there are dinosaurs inside, or so a sign outside claims. Â That's worth an extra star.)
Kudos to McDonalds - now providing excellent WiFi service for all of us business folks who are out on the road all day.
We can get good coffee, good food, and great prices --- while at the same time a fast connection to the internet for free. Â Why go anywhere else?
Our visits to McDonalds have increased substantially over the past few weeks --- thanks Mickey D's.
