Went here on a Sunday for lunch with a group of 8.  Broad menu ranging from salads to burgers to mac & cheese - mostly comfort foods.  I had the buffalo mac and cheese, which is AMAZING.  Portions are huge.  The salads are huge too, most everyone at the table took leftovers home.  They have a deal for almost every day of the week - ie unlimited shrimp on Mondays.  Atmosphere feels like a sports bar, with lots of sports paraphernalia on the walls.  Friendly staff.  Will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!

Fairly average food. Tons of options. Food is on par with catering service at a wedding. Not terrible but nothing fantastic.   As others noted, service was slow. Waitress plunked a fistful of silverware on the table with a pile of napkins and expected us to sort it out. Oh, you want a spoon for the soup?  For a family with kids, it's perfect. Otherwise, it's so-so.

We come here often and really like it. The kids love it.

    The good:
    - Excellent variety of drinks and food - there's something for everyone
    - Fast & Friendly service
    - Karaoke on Saturday nights and sometimes other entertainment (Magician) on Friday nights
    - Rewards program and yearly gift card deals are great

    Could be better:
    - The wait time is crazy starting at 5 PM on Fridays and Saturday. Not their fault though just an inconvenience.
    - Steak tips taste great and come in 2 sizes, 8oz. and 16 oz. You'd expect to get twice as much for the 16 oz. but you end up getting only about 2 more tips. They need to ensure they are providing the advertised portion!

Their Two for Tuesday night  is no deal. Small portions, limited menu and always running out of the food and they definitely can't keep up with the amount of people that come in there on that night. People would get much better service if they were more organized over there. I saw the manager wipe his mouth then proceed to hand off food to be brought out to a customer. Nasty! Never going back!

I've been a regular at the Medway Cafe for a few years now and make the most of their members reward card. Aside from double points Mondays, at Christmas time the Owner will match every dollar you spend to purchase gift cards up to $500. In other words, you purchase $500 in gift cards, you get $1,000 worth of gift cards in return. 20% back is usually the going rate, never 100%. As for the food, I enjoy all of it. Some of the things that are well worth the trip are the Chicken Parm (two thick slices of chicken) plus pasta and a roll. Delicious and more then most can finish. All of their burgers are good if you like char grilled, about 1/2 a pound. The seafood is very popular, especially the fish, baked or fried. You also can't go wrong Thursday nights when they have all you can eat Shrimp made 6 different ways. On occasion they also have Prime Rib which has been excellent and reasonably priced, comes with a sweet or reg. baked potato. Their french fries are average but they have good sweet potato fries which you can substitute at no extra cost. Best thing on the menu is an appetizer for $12.95 called the All-Star Sampler. You are free to choose between bone-in or boneless wings, pot. skins, mozz. stix, nachos, maybe more, and they throw in 6-12 onion rings on top. I usually get all boneless wings in orange and buffalo glaze. Gotta be 2lbs of chicken at least, combined with the rings which are thick and grease free, there's no better value on any menu anywhere. Owner, managers and wait staff are all very friendly. Great pub style environment and if you're a sports fan there is plenty of memorabilia aligning the walls. Plenty to drink from the tab as well. Can't think of a single reason not to give it a try, other than they it's often busy and there is sometimes a brief wait.

Up until tonight we had Medway Cafe on our mid-week "don't feel like cooking run out for a quick meal" list.  The way we were treated tonight I probably wont ever return and will throw my frequent diner card in the trash.  We sat and waited in full sight of empty tables and when we questioned the wait the "guy in charge" said we like to pace ourselves in seating.  There are too many terrific places to eat to ever be treated badly by a mediocre restaurant.

My husband and I went there on a Friday at 5pm. Thought it was a little early so we might actually not have to wait. It was PACKED. We were told it would be a 20 min wait because we were only 2 and there were a lot of parties of 5 or more. Over 1 HOUR later we were seated. The waitress was rude. She walked by and got our drink our orders and started to leave. I had to pull her back to order appetizers and apologized that we were starving.

I got the onion rings. They were nice and thick but the batter left a gritty feeling on my mouth. My husband got boneless buffalo wings. They were florescent orange and not very tasty. I ordered the 8oz steak tips with sweet potato and mixed veggies. My husband got meatloaf and mac and cheese.

I got 4 pieces of grilled stew beef. Those are not steak tips. It was beef you buy to make beef stew. Sweet potato and veggies were fine. But really how hard are those to get right.

My husbands meal was not something I would feed to a human. The mac and cheese  had separated into a gelatinous mess. The cheese part slid off the pasta because of an oil/butter slick. I had never seen anything like it. The meatloaf he said was quite awful. He told the waitress it filled up on wings but really was just trying to be nice.

On top of all that, their soda machine was broken so she kept bringing my husband flat soda. The waitress for the table next to us didn't bring them flat soda but TOLD THEM the machine was broken and it was being fixed and to wait for carbonated soda. How thoughtful.

Dinner was a disaster. Only saving grace was the filled to the top $6 glass of wine.

I like this place because it's local, the staff are friendly and I like to devour their Pancho Villa Burger once every 6 weeks or so... The Pancho Villa is a juicy tasty burger covered with jalapeno peppers and a southwestern sauce. Oh yeah...

Come on people - it is OK to give a place 1 star - really is!  This place has the slowest service of any food establishment I have ever been to.  Even Capital Grille is faster and they earned that 5 stars.   Do yourself a favor and keep driving when you see the sign for Medway Cafe.  Food is average but service is unbearable.  Even take out - you call an order in, they say 20 minutes, you show up in 30 minutes because you know they don't have it done - and your stuck waiting another 20 minutes for them to bring the food out (and of course it is cold!).  So unless you are already in a coma, there are a lot of other places around to eat.

This place is great.  My wife and I eat here an average of once a week, and have been known to eat here 3-4 times in weeks we're too busy to cook.  It is not health food, by any means, but there are a few salad options, and they offer a fat free dressing (which many places don't).  There are lots of ways to eat cheap here - they do specials very regularly (both weekly, like Two for Tuesday, and random free things for various holidays, with a frequent eater program that earns you gift certificates, and includes another $10 every year for your birthday).  They have good appetizers, good burgers, and good entrée options (though some of them seem like better values than others).  The staff always remember us, and we've never had an order wrong (and we don't always order the same thing, so it's not the 1-2 dishes that they get right).

If you want a local place with consistently good food, and very reasonable prices, or if you're into a place that still does specials and will remember your name, this is a great option.

Went Monday night with the kids.  Restaurant was moderately busy, our waitress had one other table when we got there and I think four tables when we left - busy but not crazy.  I used to be a waitress, so I'm pretty understanding but our service was not good.  I had no drink at all while she walked by several times.  I finally managed to flag her down and she delivered then, but when it's a soft drink, I really shouldn't have to do this if she's not in the weeds.

I ordered steak tips with Gorgonzola - they were good. #1 daughter ordered a side salad (nothing unusual, but fresh) and boneless wings.  It was fine, nothing special, but ok. #2 daughter ordered the "special" mac-n-cheese that the menu raves about.  It had no taste at all, very disappointing.

3 meals, no alcohol, $55 seemed a bit high for low-end chain type food.

If average is your thing, you're headed to the right place.

Totally acceptable, totally average american fare, for a reasonable fare.

This was a fun trip actually, the lady's parental units took us for a lunch (my first encounter) and we had excellent service. The funny bit was that EVERYTHING had meat stuffed in it somewhere.

Every salad, every sandwich, every soda was overflowing with the stuff. Now I think we're pretty relaxed vegetarians, and the waitstaff was accommodating leaving the meat out of the dish (even going so far as to customizing them slightly), but meat in every dish? That's hilarious.

The lady ordered a grilled cheese with tomato in the end (even the original grilled cheese has ham) and we were presented with a grilled cheese with a burger on it...

    a burger?

They were nice enough to redo it and give us her meal as a freebie.

    Good service, average food.

Just go to the job lot down the street, they have cheap Newman O's.

Came here with the family after Thanksgiving. It's a bit like Chilis or Applebees, but with a much more eclectic menu selection. Service was alright and the prices were decent. It seems like a great place to watch games at. Will return at some point.

Located just a few miles from our place this was a great treat for lunch.

If you want a crowd pleasing appetizer get the nachos! They're piled high with crispy chips, lots of gooey melted cheese, and generous portions of sour creme and salsa.  They're delicious!!!

The menu offered a great variety and service was prompt.

Oh, and the clam chowder was thick, creamy, and chock-full of potatoes and clams! yum!!

We'll be back and look forward to trying other entrees :)
