The former school house for Corvallis became a restaurant.  Photos of high school teams, scenes of people working in fields and businesses and antique artifacts make the décor.

Welcome to rural Montana.  The people who work and live here, eat here so you will see all variety of folk.  Teachers from the elementary school across the street, shop owners from the little Main Street, tradesmen washing up for lunch and maybe the executive board of American Legion Post 92 will occupy a table for a meeting.

The owner is a very nice lady who bought the business and has continually improved it without destroying the local flavor.

Nothing fancy on the menu..basic grub here.  Prices are really reasonable.  Ice cream is served from a freezer by the front door.  Friday night is an all-you-can-eat fish fry.  You can eat outside on the large deck in nice weather.

If you are looking for gourmet, go to Missoula, an hour away.  And they don't know or care about glutens or fancy Italian breads, so don't look for anything but standard fare.

I live .9 miles away, so step back in time to meet my neighbors.  Friendly is normal in Montana and they will satisfy their curiosity in chatting with you.

This place is really cute however the food is not:( Maybe I need to try something  else on the menu, but the sandwich I ordered for lunch was served on white wonder bread and had no flavor whatsoever. I've heard the breakfast is good but I will definitely not be returning for lunch unless I have a sudden craving for a white bread bologna sandwich or a hot dog.... Which will be... Ummm... Never:)
